Singapore Merlion Park

Merlion is a mythical creature from which Singapore was named after, facing the majestic Marina Bay Sands hotel, it is a 'must-see' place. Singapore’s national icon, the mythical Merlion with the head of a lion and the body of a fish resides at the waterfront Merlion Park. The body symbolises Singapore's humble beginnings as a fishing village.

St Andrew’s Cathedral 

Saint Andrew's Cathedral is Singapore’s oldest cathedral with the first stone laid in 1835 and is the seat of the Anglican bishop of Singapore. It has since been restored and sits right in the middle of Singapore. It also testifies to the contributions of the local Scottish, English, and Indian communities to the growth and development of colonial Singapore.
